What is this course?
CoDE is a new, free, online crash course in coding. Over 5 hrs/wk for 5 weeks, you’ll learn the fundamentals of coding in Javascript, the most commonly-used coding language in the world. Whether you’re looking to gain a leg up in the admissions process for an intensive coding school, or just want to gain a new skill, CoDE is right for you! Classes will begin the first week of January and run until mid-February. Final schedule coming soon.

This course would not be possible without the help of Dr. Alison Hynd with MIT’s PKG Center, Kris Younger from Zip Code DE, Pat Callihan with Tech Impact DE, and James Riley from the West End Neighborhood House.
director/Teacher – Max Williamson
As a native of Wilmington, DE, I’ve seen how so many of our high schools fail to provide the same basic framework for computer science as they do for biology, math, or english. To level the playing field, I’m launching this course to introduce coding to those that never got a chance to try it in high school, and hopefully inspire one or two people to pursue software engineering as a career.
